Split-screen Viewing Engages KS Video Subscribers

Back to Insights

In an ongoing effort to provide engaging features for video subscribers, operators like WTC Fiber in Wamego, Kansas, are relying on vendor solutions such as split-screen viewing offered by the Innovative Systems InnoCoder platform.

During the NTCA Mens Basketball Tournament, WTCtv offered as a value add with no extra cost QuadCast, allowing their customers to watch four channels on a single screen.

WTC Fiber promotes their video product as a “modern TV experience with cloud DVR, seamless streaming across devices, and an expansive channel lineup, making it easier than ever for customers to enjoy their favorite content.”

The WTC Quadcast is a feature provided by the Innovative Systems Transcoding/Encoding platform, the Innocoder T-40. This feature, called Mosaic Output, allows up to six inputs to be broadcast on a single channel.

“One of our goals is to elevate the viewing experience by giving WTCtv customers the flexibility they desire.”
