EXTRA SECURITY FOR ACS SUPPORTED SIP PHONES

Hackers engaging reverse lookup attacks on your SIP devices hoping to use them for illicit LD calls are further thwarted with unique ID tokens generated by the APMAX ACS software. Each phone will have, along with the URL and MAC address, a unique 11 character code to further protect you and your customers from hackers. The ID code is on by default as long as the Configuration Server in the group is using http or https.

Reset Token ID Feature

If you need to reset the ID token for security purposes or if you have a phone out in the field that is not communicating with the APMAX, select the phone you wish to reset and press the Reset ID Token button. Once selected, a new ID code is regenerated the next time the device connects to ACS service.
