The happiest rural consumers who subscribe to live television believe that the price they pay for the service is fair.
In the 2025 Rural Subscriber Study, consumers rated their satisfaction with live television on a scale from one to ten, with one being the lowest and ten being the highest. Two hundred sixty-six respondents reported a satisfaction level of seven or higher, citing a variety of options that contributed to their high satisfaction.

The second-highest satisfaction rating indicates that consumers may be experiencing streaming app fatigue. The 2025 report indicates that rural Americans are subscribing to 13 streaming services. In contrast, just five years earlier, only three measurable streaming services were used by rural consumers.
